About the Event
Rachel Whitney joined Spotify in 2020 as Head of Editorial for the Nashville-based music market, leading the team that covers all things country, Christian, gospel, folk, Americana and roots music. With 15 years in Nashville, she has dedicated her career to the intersection of music and technology. She previously worked at YouTube and Pandora, where she led country music programming. Prior to that she was at Borman Entertainment as Director of Digital Marketing and supported artists including Keith Urban, Lady A, Michael Franti, Mickey Guyton & My Morning Jacket.
Originally from Wichita, KS, Rachel received her BA from Indiana University and MBA from Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Business.
