
Brandi Simms
CHAIR PERSON OF THE BOARD
Brandi Simms serves as the Director of Strategic Development for Moo TV and Moo Creative, which is a premiere video production company for music tours and special events. She is also Director of The Steel Mill, which is the area’s largest rehearsal hall for tours and filming.
Prior to joining Moo, she was the Sr. Director of Awards & Industry Relations for CMA. She joined the CMA Executive Department in 2001, as Assistant to Ed Benson (now retired Executive Director). She became Sr. Manager of Membership & Balloting in September 2010, Director of Membership & Balloting in 2013 and was promoted to Sr. Director in December 2013. Simms was responsible for CMA Membership Recruitment and Retention of the organization's 7,600 members, CMA Awards Balloting for the 12 categories presented on the annual CMA Awards telecast on ABC TV, CMA Broadcast Awards, inductions into the Country Music Hall of Fame, as well as all other CMA organizational honors.
Simms serves on the Board of Directors for the Women’s Music Business Association, Nashville Area Salvation Army, and Musician’s On Call. She is a member of The Recording Academy, SOURCE, YP Nashville and is also an alumnus of the Society of Leaders in Development (SOLID). In 2010, she was selected as a Woman of the Year representative for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, in 2013 received MusicRow’s Rising Women on the Row Award and is a 2019 recipient of NBJ’s Women in Music City Award.
Moo TV is the reigning Video Company of the Year, which is the highest video company honor in the music industry.
